At the heart of it was a clear mission — to show that TikTok is not just where Saudis scroll. It’s where they build businesses.
The AIM
To highlight TikTok’s tangible impact on Saudi Arabia’s economy by positioning the platform as a growth engine for a new generation of entrepreneurs and small to medium businesses. Through a low-barrier entry point to a wide, engaged audience, TikTok gives users the tools to build sustainable revenue streams, reach customers at scale, and grow their businesses in ways that weren’t possible before.
The Opportunity
The numbers told a compelling story. TikTok’s Economic Impact Report revealed the platform’s significant — and measurable — contribution to the Saudi economy:
Over 170,000 SMBs and more than one million creators use TikTok to connect with customers, build audiences, and drive innovation. In 2024 alone, SMB activity on TikTok contributed SAR 3.9 billion (USD 1.04 billion) to Saudi Arabia’s GDP and supported 25,000 jobs across the Kingdom.
This wasn’t a story about a social media platform. It was a story about national economic momentum — and TikTok was at the center of it.
The Idea

Through compelling video content, authentic interviews, and creator collaborations, we showcased local SMBs that transformed ideas into national successes. The result was a campaign that felt less like advertising and more like evidence: proof, in human form, that TikTok is a serious driver of economic transformation and a credible partner in achieving Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 ambitions.
